No, we have invented and developed the technology that allows MDF waste to be recycled. Our customers integrate the solution into their existing manufacturing processes solving the problem of what to do with waste MDF at scale.
Using recycled MDF fibres reduces dependency on virgin timber, lowers costs and provides a sustainable solution for waste MDF. It significantly reduces the environmental impact of manufactured MDF products compared to using new timber.
Recycled MDF fibres can be used to manufacture new MDF boards, flexible insulation batts, loose fill insulation, and other fibre-based products.
The first commercial plant is under construction in Wales, UK and will be online in the next 12 months. You can contact us to arrange a demonstration and find out more about our processes.
Recovered MDF fibres are of the same high quality as virgin wood fibres. Our process breaks down MDF waste into its original components and the fibre quality is the same as the feedstock it comes from. Using our pilot plant we can demonstrate this using your own feedstock.
MDF Recovery enable manufacturers to incorporate recycled content into their MDF products reducing reliance on virgin wood stock.
