23rd May 2024
MDF Recovery, the UK based innovator which has developed proprietary technology to recycle MDF waste, has today announced that Steve Harvey has joined the company as head of commercial. The technology development organisation is transitioning from an intense period of R&D into its commercial growth phase, and Steve is at the forefront of driving ambitious growth.
Steve will work closely with MDF Recovery, managing director, Craig Bartlett having previously held the role of non-executive director.
As a commercial and corporate lawyer, Steve became managing partner of his own firm at just 36 years old. Over time, he built a portfolio of clients who he helped in all aspects of business which drove him to stop practicing law and focus his attention on adding value to clients’ organisations as a management consultant.
“I’m excited by this role particularly given the recent successes in achieving commercial relationships with PAL and W Howard,” explains Steve Harvey.
“I have always been attracted by the technology and its impact on the environment, and there are clear and obvious moves to ensure sustainability maintains and develops its momentum. MDF Recovery has a part to play in that agenda.”
Previous experience in legal services has provided Steve with a sound understanding of commercial agreements and intellectual property. Steve will also bring with him experience of supporting technology-based and fast growth businesses – developing strategic plans to drive market engagement.
Craig Bartlett, managing director, MDF Recovery said: “Steve’s appointment is an exciting milestone for MDF Recovery – his background in commercial law and business management will be instrumental in driving our ambitious growth and advancing our mission of providing sustainable solutions in the circular economy. I’m thrilled to welcome him onboard.”
Steve takes up his role with immediate effect.
